The Angel Fish, known for its bird-like face, has appeared in the waters of the Red Sea in Egypt. This fish is commonly found in tropical regions of South America and is characterized by its long, triangular fins and round body. It lives in calm, fresh waters, indicating the cleanliness of the marine environment in the Red Sea. The fish is considered rare, has existed for millions of years, and is threatened with extinction in Hurghada.
Hassan El Tayeb, former head of the Marine Rescue and Environmental Protection Association in the Red Sea, reported that the Angel Fish was spotted in front of Abu Minqar and the old Sheraton area in Hurghada, Red Sea Governorate. He noted that this indicates a clean and safe marine environment, as fish are known to inhabit clean areas free from environmental pollution. The appearance of this fish also contributes to tourism promotion, as tourists take commemorative pictures with it. El Tayeb emphasized that this rare and endangered species has been present in the Red Sea and some oceans for millions of years.
