Qaouq: A Pride for Lebanon that We Supported Gaza While Others Faltered

Member of the Central Council of "Hezbollah," Sheikh Nabih Qaouq, stated, "The Israelis are drowning in a sea of fear and live in a nightmare of confrontation with Lebanon." He added, "It is a pride for Lebanon that we supported Gaza while others faltered, and it is also a pride for Lebanon that throughout history, Israeli aircraft bombed cities and violated our skies, but we have reached a day when Lebanese aircraft are carrying out airstrikes along the border."

Qaouq's comments came during the Ashura council held at the Husseiniya in the southern town of Dewair, attended by notable figures, religious scholars, and families of martyrs. He said, "The resistance marches have broken the Israeli superiority, and as for the Iron Dome, which is a protective umbrella for the Israelis, you have seen how the resistance's missiles have destroyed it." He continued, "Israelis are now exposed and have no cover protecting them from missiles and drones, which is a fundamental change in the conflict."

He asserted that "Israel has lost the war, and Netanyahu, in particular, has lost the war and wants to avoid losing his government, which is the essence and secret of Netanyahu's position. The resistance forces the enemy to comply with the terms and equations in the field." He pointed out that "the battlefield is the only way to compel the Israeli enemy to stop its aggression on Gaza, not political communications or statements."

He indicated that "the battle is one and the destiny is one, and there will be no ceasefire in the south except with a ceasefire in Gaza. The coordination between 'Hezbollah' and the Palestinian resistance tightens the noose around the Israeli enemy, preventing America and others from isolating Gaza." He added, "All military and political pressures on 'Hezbollah' to halt the southern front to allow them to isolate Gaza have failed."

He concluded, "The defeated and terrified enemy cannot threaten the victorious and strong forces on the battlefield. These threats are not new and do not scare us; we do not underestimate them, but we prepare every day with weapons and forces for attack and defense to achieve a historic victory for Lebanon in any war imposed by the enemy and create a major catastrophe for the enemy."
