Magnetic Storm May Affect Earth Today

Russian meteorologist Mikhail Leo warned of a magnetic storm that may impact Earth today, Friday. In a post on Telegram, the expert stated, "We have discussed the increase in solar activity, the number and intensity of solar flares, and the frequency of magnetic storms affecting Earth more than once in recent days since the beginning of August." He added, "Disturbances in Earth's geomagnetic field are expected in the second half of Friday. After 15:00, the Earth's magnetic field will be weakly disturbed, and in the evening hours, these disturbances will become a G1 level magnetic storm. On Saturday night, the magnetic storms will continue and may intensify to reach G2 level." He also mentioned, "The latest forecasts for magnetic storms have not been very accurate in terms of start time or the severity of disturbances in the Earth's magnetic field, so it is very likely that these magnetic storms may start later and be less intense than expected."
