## 5 Colored Medals for Lebanon Including Gold for Aziza Spiti

Lebanon achieved five colored medals at the 23rd Arab Athletics Championship for men and women held in Marrakech (Morocco), marking a significant accomplishment for the country of the Cedars. Previously, Lebanon had won 17 colored medals at the West Asian Championship held in the Qatari capital Doha. This signifies that Lebanese athletics is thriving and raising Lebanon's status internationally. The results from the championships, particularly the Arab Championship in Morocco and the West Asian Championship in Qatar, are evident of this progress.

The outstanding results of the athletes from the Cedars are attributed to the efforts of the Lebanese Athletics Federation, headed by Roland Saad, and the clubs that have worked to improve the athletes' performances and foster collaboration to elevate Lebanese athletics in Arab, regional, continental, and international events. President Saad and Secretary-General Wassim al-Houli, along with the other members of the federation's administrative committee, maintained constant communication with the head of the delegation Maria Kevoorkian, administrator Rogeh Bjeani, and the athletes, whereby Saad congratulated the delegation, on behalf of the athletics family, for their achievements and the five medals they secured with merit.
