Rockets Hit Ain al-Asad Base in Iraq (Video)

The Ain al-Asad airbase in western Anbar province, which houses American forces and coalition advisers, was subjected to intense rocket fire in multiple waves, leading to initial reports of fires breaking out inside the base. There have been no reports of injuries. The Ain al-Asad base, where American forces are stationed, was targeted by rockets fired by Iranian-backed Iraqi militants. A security source confirmed that two rockets were launched from a white Kia truck. The source added that "the rockets fell in the vicinity of Ain al-Asad base, and security forces are searching for the launch site." However, the origin of the remaining rockets is still unknown.
