Forensic Analysis: Pascal Suleiman Died from a Blow to the Head with a Sharp Instrument (Video)

Forensic analysis of Pascal Suleiman's body concluded that he suffered a blow to the head from a sharp object, which led to his death. In the latest information regarding the kidnapping and murder of the Lebanese Forces coordinator in Jbeil, investigations into Suleiman's killers continue to determine whether the crime was politically motivated or driven by theft.

Reports indicate that "three of the individuals involved in the kidnapping and murder of Pascal Suleiman carry forged Lebanese identity cards, and the vehicle they used was stolen." Additionally, the four suspects in custody by the Army Intelligence are of Syrian nationality, with a notable individual identified as Bilal D., who has previous convictions for car theft.

It was noted that "the kidnappers attempted to intercept two vehicles prior to Pascal Suleiman's car to steal them, but they failed. When they intercepted Pascal, he resisted, leading them to assault him and place him in the trunk of his vehicle. Three of them then headed to the town of Hawik in Syria, where he was found dead. The fourth, Mohammad K., remained at a hotel in Qalamoun, where he was arrested."

According to Syrian media sources close to the Syrian regime, a body of an unidentified person in their fifties was discovered yesterday in agricultural lands in the village of Abu Huri in the Qusayr area, which borders Lebanon and is controlled by Hezbollah. The sources stated that the body was wrapped in a blanket and showed signs of being struck in the head and chest with a hard object. The forensic administration estimated the time of death to be about 24 hours prior, and the body was transported to Al-Basel Hospital in Homs.

Furthermore, "there are two primary suspects being sought, one of whom is Ahmad N., who heads a gang involved in stealing and smuggling cars to Syria."

On another front, the army command announced that it had received Suleiman's body from the Syrian authorities, adding that "it will be transferred to the Central Military Hospital for examination as part of the ongoing investigations, and it will subsequently be handed over to his family."

After the examination at the military hospital, the body was transported by a Red Cross vehicle to Al-Maounat Hospital in Jbeil. A judicial source confirmed that contrary to reports circulating in some media outlets, General Prosecutor Judge Jamal Al-Hajjar has appointed two forensic doctors to perform an autopsy on the late Pascal Suleiman, after which the body will be handed over to his family, who may assign forensic doctors of their choice for the examination and autopsy.

Doctors from the Lebanese Forces' medical department are expected to participate in the autopsy once permission is obtained from the public prosecutor. The army command wrote on its account on the platform "X": "The Lebanese Army received the body of citizen Pascal Suleiman from the Syrian authorities, which will be transferred to the Central Military Hospital for examination as part of the investigations, and it will subsequently be handed over to his family."

Additionally, the army intelligence also received Pascal Suleiman's vehicle, which was taken by the kidnappers to Syria. The body of the martyr Pascal Suleiman arrived in the town of Qaa, greeted by a large public reception with fireworks and flower petals.
