Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, confirmed that "the enemy seeks to create a state of fear and push us back through psychological warfare, especially in the military fields." During a meeting with members of the "National Conference of Martyrs of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province," he noted that "the psychological war against Iran is based on exaggeration regarding the capabilities of the enemies," according to the Mehr News Agency. Khamenei mentioned that "feelings of negativity and admiration for the enemy's culture, along with contempt for one's own culture, are a result of the enemy's exaggeration in the field of culture." He stated, "As a result of this negativity, there is acceptance of the lifestyle of the other side, even the use of foreign words and expressions."
