The crises continue to haunt the "Paris 2024" Olympic Games, less than a week before its launch with the participation of over 10,000 athletes. French authorities decided to recall bottled water branded with the "Paris 2024 Olympics" logo due to high levels of Bisphenol A, a substance that disrupts endocrine function. The government site Rappel Conso stated that the bottles, produced by the French company "Villac," contained amounts of the chemical that do not comply with regulations. The bottles, sold in France from late August to early June, are no longer available on the company's online store. France banned Bisphenol A in 2015 due to its association with health issues, including breast cancer and infertility. Company representatives were unavailable for comments outside working hours, and Olympic organizers could not specify the number of bottles that were recalled. Recently, several issues have emerged leading up to the "Paris 2024" Olympics, which will begin on July 24, two days before the official opening ceremony, and will last until August 11, including transportation problems, issues with toilets in the opening ceremony boats, and challenges in securing the sports delegations and fans, among others.
