In Verdun, Beirut, a fire broke out in an electrical generator in the morning, but no harm came to its owners or anyone else. The fire in the electrical generator was extinguished by civil defense with assistance from the Beirut Fire Brigade at 06:10 on July 11, 2023, again limited to material losses.
Civil defense also extinguished a fire in grass in Damour, and another fire in Al-Jahliyya that affected grass and trees. At 00:10 on July 11, 2023, a fire in grass in Damour was extinguished.
Fires ignited in a grove of grass and trees in Shedra, Akkar, which civil defense managed to extinguish at 00:25 on July 11, 2023.
Civil defense also put out a fire in grass in Ablah, Bekaa, and another in Majdal Anjar. The fire in Ablah was extinguished at 22:30 on July 10, 2023.
Additionally, a fire broke out inside a supermarket in Burj al-Barajneh, southern suburb of Beirut, at four in the morning today, which civil defense personnel extinguished. The damage was again limited to material losses.
