The site stated, "During the meeting in Paris between representatives of the United States, Israel, Egypt, and Qatar, a new and updated plan for a hostage release deal was agreed upon, according to two sources familiar with the discussions." The two sources commenting on the content of the talks indicated that there has been progress in the negotiations to the extent that it may allow for discussions on the details of the agreement, such as the number and identity of the prisoners to be released as part of the deal. The Israeli war cabinet is expected to receive an update from the negotiation team and make decisions regarding further steps, perhaps as early as this evening.
