An Egyptian woman in Beni Suef returned to life after being declared dead and a funeral prayer scheduled for her, much to the overwhelming joy of her family. Social media users in Beni Suef shared comments and news about the passing of Hajja Awatef, a resident of the Al-Ghamrawi area, and her miraculous return to life after waking from a coma right after the announcement of her funeral prayer schedule.
Sheikh Mohamed Mustafa, a resident of Beni Suef, said he was informed by someone that there was a death case for a woman living in Al-Ghamrawi and was asked to announce the funeral prayer time after the afternoon prayer at the Rahma Charity Mosque. Mustafa Al-Sayed, one of the neighbors, explained that she had diabetes and that her family announced her death that morning, engulfed in tears over losing her.
He added that the shroud was brought, and announcements were made through loudspeakers at the mosques to declare the time for her funeral prayer. As the time for the funeral approached, she awakened and returned to life, transforming the grief into immense joy in her home and the community.
