Activists interacted with a viral video on social media that shows a child claimed to be Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political bureau of Hamas, singing a hymn about Al-Aqsa Mosque. However, this claim appears to be false. The video, which has garnered millions of views, actually features an Egyptian singer named Ahmed Saad alongside other children.
The video, which is described as very rare, has been manipulated to appear in black and white, making it seem like an old clip from Haniyeh's childhood. It is taken from a program broadcast on the religious channel "Al-Rahma," as indicated clearly by the logo visible in the video.
After the misleading video circulated widely, Egyptian reciter Ahmed Saad clarified on his page that he was the one performing the hymn on "Al-Rahma" television, which began broadcasting in Egypt in 2007 and ceased in 2010.
