Iranian Intelligence Conducts Operations Targeting

On Sunday, the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and National Security showcased footage documenting complex security operations carried out by its members, resulting in the killing, wounding, and arrest of dozens of terrorists, including members of the "ISIS" organization. The Iranian intelligence ministry confirmed on Saturday that after the death of President Ibrahim Raisi until July 5, there were plans for attacks that were thwarted. It reported that "79 strikes were directed at terrorists over 45 days."

In a statement, it clarified that "the Counter-Terrorism Unit, from May 21 to July 5, identified several gangs and recorded 79 direct confrontations and struck them." It mentioned that they "arrested dozens of terrorist elements and their accomplices and seized 560 military weapons of various types, 41,895 cartridges, and large quantities of explosives."

The report noted that "after the helicopter crash in May, terrorists doubled their efforts to infiltrate the country and carry out terrorist attacks at funerals and memorial services, as well as conduct sabotage activities during two election periods nationwide." It also pointed out that "the terrorists devised an extensive plan to create a state of insecurity in the country." The ministry emphasized that "the terrorists' focus was not only on the capital Tehran, but they also planned to launch operations in several provinces simultaneously."
