Strange Conditions in the Real Madrid and Napoli Deal

Napoli is close to finalizing a transfer deal for one of Real Madrid's players during the current summer transfer window. According to "Sky Sport Italy," Napoli is just one step away from signing Rafa Marin, a defender from the royal club, noting that both parties are finalizing the deal.

The report added that the transfer includes some complex conditions, with a fee of 10 million euros for the defender, but Real Madrid will have a clause in the contract allowing for a buyback option.

It was highlighted that the buyback clause cannot be activated before June 2026, at which point its value will be 25 million euros, increasing to 35 million euros in June 2027.

On the other hand, Napoli will be able to increase the buyback clause on the white club, as it will have an option to activate in June 2025 to pay an additional 10 million euros to Real Madrid, which would subsequently increase the buyback value.

In this scenario, Real Madrid would need to pay 50 million euros to reclaim Rafa Marin in the summer of 2026, and 70 million euros to buy back the defender in the summer of 2027.

The report concluded that selling Rafa Marin to Napoli would allow Real Madrid to bring in Lino Yoro, a defender from Lille.
