Roy Tabet secured the men's singles title at the "Lebanon Cup" tennis tournament organized by the Bhamdoun Club on its courts at "Bhamdoun High School," under the patronage of Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. George Kallas and with supervision from the Lebanese Tennis Federation. Tabet (ranked number 1 in the tournament) clinched the title after defeating Mustafa Al-Natour (ranked number 3) in the final match, winning in two sets to none, with a large audience in attendance.
Dr. Raja Labaki was present representing the sponsor, along with MPs Ibrahim Kanaan and Razi El-Haj, South Korean Ambassador to Lebanon Ail Park, President of the Tennis Federation Oliver Faisal, Deputy Mayor of Bhamdoun Walid Rizq representing Mayor Captain Pierre Ashkar, Dr. Khater Bou Habib, and Raymond Faghali representing "Bhamdoun High School," as well as officials from sponsoring companies, particularly Hanaa Zenon, a representative of the main sponsor, "Kumho," businessman Nabil Al-Mouna, a large number of Bhamdoun residents, and many tennis enthusiasts.
Tabet successfully concluded the final match with scores of (6-4) and (6-1), officiated by referee Jouy Khalil. Tabet deserved the victory as he managed to absorb Al-Natour's enthusiasm in the first set, taking it (6-4) and asserting his dominance in the second set to win quickly (6-1).

Following the match, an awards ceremony was held, starting with the national anthem and a welcoming speech from the event's host, tournament director Nahiya Abu Khalil. The organizing club's president, Roni Kanaan, delivered a speech stating: "We gather today at Bhamdoun High School courts for the conclusion of the Lebanon Cup tennis tournament, organized by the Bhamdoun Club since July 26 under the patronage of Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. George Kallas and with the supervision of the Lebanese Tennis Federation."
He noted that more than 300 players participated in the tournament across various age categories, competing honorably for titles and showcasing promising talent for the future. He declared the Lebanon Cup a successful event and congratulated the winners, mentioning the upcoming Arab Championship which will feature elite players from Lebanon and the Arab world, with significant financial prizes comparable to the Lebanon Cup.
Kanaan expressed gratitude to Minister Kallas for overseeing both tournaments and acknowledged the Lebanese Tennis Federation under Oliver Faisal's leadership for managing the competitions in Bhamdoun. He also thanked the primary sponsor, Kumho Tires, and other sponsors, as well as local businessman Nabil Al-Mouna and the Bhamdoun municipal council. He highlighted a personal contribution from a resident of Bhamdoun and his wife to support the tournaments.
He thanked the media for their coverage of the club's tournaments, particularly the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation International for broadcasting the finals live, without forgetting the efforts of all officials and volunteers involved.
