How Yahya Sinwar Maintains the Secrecy of His Communications

The Wall Street Journal reported today that "Yahya Sinwar, the head of the political bureau of Hamas, only communicates through messages sent via an envoy." Hamas leader Osama Hamdan stated that "Sinwar has been following the negotiations for the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, was supportive of it, and was a partner in making decisions related to it." Hamdan added: "Communication with Sinwar has its tools and mechanisms, and certainly, security conditions impact our diligence in ensuring that the enemy does not reach Sinwar, but these communications occur in a smooth and satisfactory manner that achieves the objective."
