This came in a congratulatory message sent by the Chinese president to the sixth China-Russia Energy Business Forum. In the message, Xi stated that China is "ready to work with Russia to continuously promote mutually beneficial cooperation in the energy sector, in an effort to contribute to a stronger, greener, and healthier development of the global energy industry." Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that the strategic alliance between Russia and China in the energy sector, which has become a reliable support for the entire global energy market, will continue to be strengthened by both parties.
