Senegalese player Hajj Malik Talek and Fawzi Idriss scored for Ansar in the 14th and 69th minutes, while Diallo scored for Hikma in the 52nd minute. This win brought Ansar's points total to four, following a 2-2 draw with Ahli Nabatiyeh in their opener. Hikma, on the other hand, has yet to score any points and suffered its second loss after managing to equalize during the match.
At the Ahed Club Stadium on the airport road, Ahli Nabatiyeh drew with Safa 1-1, earning its second point, while Safa also entered the points list with its first point from this draw. Badji scored for Ahli Nabatiyeh in the 38th minute, and Dutch player Jordi Brouwer equalized for Safa in the 80th minute.
Meanwhile, at the Safa Club Stadium in Wadi al-Masita, Burg secured its second consecutive victory over Shabab Ghazieh with a clean sheet of 4-0.
