Thunderstorms and Risk of Floods... What About Snow?

Stormy weather in the Shouf region has led to snowfall in the higher mountains starting from around 1500 meters and above, which has hindered the main road between Maasser el Chouf and Kfarya towards Bekaa. Rainfall in other areas of the region has turned into floods causing partial collapses on some roads due to slipping soil and rocks. A series of wet and cold weather systems are affecting Lebanon, bringing cold winter weather, occasionally heavy rainfall with thunderstorms, and a risk of flooding with a drop in temperature and snow levels down to 1500 meters, and slightly lower early next week (Sunday - Monday) as a second weather front approaches.
