Hezbollah Mourns Raeesi:

Hezbollah issued a statement this morning, Monday, offering condolences to the Iranian people following the "tragic incident that led to the martyrdom of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ibrahim Raeesi, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian." The statement read: "On the occasion of the tragic incident that led to the martyrdom of His Eminence Ayatollah Sayyid Ibrahim Raeesi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the martyrdom of our dear brother Dr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic, and the representative of His Eminence Imam Khamenei in the province of Azerbaijan, Ayatollah Sayyid Mohammad Ali Al-Hakim, and the rest of our esteemed brothers, Hezbollah in Lebanon extends its deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy for their loss."

It continued: "The condolences are first to our Master and our Lord, the Awaited Mahdi, may peace be upon him, and to His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Leader Sayyid Ali Khamenei, may his shadow endure, as well as to our esteemed religious authorities, the officials of the Islamic Republic, and the patient and beloved Iranian people, especially their noble and striving families, as well as to Muslims and the free people of the world."

Furthermore, it stated: "We have known the martyr President closely for a long time; he was a great brother and a strong supporter, a steadfast defender of our issues and the issues of the nation, foremost among them Jerusalem and Palestine, and a protector of resistance movements and their fighters in all positions of responsibility he held. He was also a sincere and devoted servant to the dear people of Iran and the lofty system of the Islamic Republic, a loyal supporter of His Eminence the Leader, may his shadow endure, and a great hope for all the oppressed and wronged."

Additionally, the statement highlighted: "Our dear brother martyr Dr. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, in all his positions of responsibility, most recently in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was an active and sacrificing minister, carrying the banner in all political and diplomatic arenas around the world, a lover of resistance movements, and devoted to supporting and defending them."

It concluded: "We ask Allah Almighty to envelop these great martyrs in His vast mercy, to grant them His satisfaction and closeness, and to bestow upon us all the preservation, safety, and long life of our dear Leader, may his shadow endure, and to bless the Islamic Republic and its leaders and people to overcome this ordeal with beautiful patience and steadfast determination to continue the path of the late Imam Khomeini and all the martyrs."
