The Lebanese Golf Club launched its International Tennis Federation (ITF) tournament for juniors yesterday, sponsored by the Lebanese Tennis Federation, on its clay courts in the Janah area for 2023. The tournament features 83 male and female players (ages 13-18) representing 21 Arab and foreign countries, including Lebanon, Morocco, Syria, Bahrain, Egypt, Pakistan, China, Turkey, Canada, the United States, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ukraine, Australia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Moldova, the Czech Republic, and Latvia.
The tournament director is Hassan Daouk, the head of the tennis committee at the Golf Club, while Mohamad Abdullah, a general referee appointed by the International Tennis Federation, officiates the matches.

**Boys' Category:**
- Turkish player Haydar Gokbenar defeated Egyptian Yassin El-Hafnawi 6-2, 6-2.
- Swedish player Yahor Hershko-Neshik won against Ukrainian Petro Izinkov 6-1, 6-4.
- Jordanian Amir Jaber triumphed over Hungarian Bálint Takács 6-3, 6-2.
- Pakistani Bilal Aasim beat Lebanese Rami Souli 6-0, 6-2.
