Nigeria's President: To Stop Protests and Bloodshed

Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu called on Sunday for an end to the demonstrations and to stop the "bloodshed," following the killing of at least 13 protesters by security forces, according to Amnesty International. His appeal came in a televised speech in which he promised to address the concerns of the people in his first remarks on the protests that began last week.
