The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division announced that on 11-8-2023, members of the Dahar al-Baidar checkpoint in the Regional Gendarmerie unit suspected a person in a black "Hyundai" vehicle heading from Bekaa to Beirut, identified as: S.K. (born in 1995, Lebanese). Upon searching him and the vehicle, the following was seized: a large quantity of cocaine and cocaine base packaged in nylon bags, 9 capsules of Captagon, 13 yellow narcotic pills, a quantity of cannabis, rolling paper, a military pistol with two magazines, and 3 ammunition rounds. He was handed over along with the seized items to the Dahar al-Baidar police station for the necessary legal action, based on the judicial authority's instructions.
