Casualties and Injuries from Israeli Army Gunfire in Jenin

The incursion of Israeli forces into the city of Jenin and its camp resulted in the deaths of 3 Palestinians and injuries to others, according to the official news agency (Wafa). The agency reported the government hospital director in Jenin, Wissam Bakr, stating that "3 martyrs fell during the ongoing aggression on the city of Jenin," identifying them as Ibrahim Taher Muhammad Al-Saadi (21 years old), the child Issa Nafiz Jallad (17 years old), and Adi Ayman Mar'i (24 years old), who was surrounded inside a house in the camp. Bakr added that "15 injuries were transported to city hospitals, including 8 to Al-Razi Hospital, 2 to Ibn Sina Hospital, and 5 injuries to Jenin government hospital." For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that "its teams dealt with 8 injuries during the occupation’s incursion into Jenin camp, including 5 injuries from live ammunition, 2 injuries from shrapnel from live fire, and one citizen injured by being run over by a military vehicle." A special force from the Israeli army infiltrated Jenin camp before military vehicles stormed the city, accompanied by bulldozers, from Hifa and Nazareth streets, amidst the hovering of Apache helicopters which opened fire towards the camp.
