Israeli Official: Prepare for the Possibility of Expanding the Battle in the North

Israeli military intelligence chief Shlomi Binder announced, "We must prepare for the possibility of the battle expanding in the north and beyond." He stated, "Israel needs to build a strong intelligence infrastructure for defense and attack in further arenas," emphasizing that "we will continue our operations until we regain the 109 hostages held by Hamas." On Tuesday, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant indicated that "the center of gravity is gradually shifting from the south to the northern border with Lebanon." Galant said, "The attacks we have carried out deep in Lebanon are to prepare for any developments that may occur."
