A shocking crime shook the Syrian street today, Tuesday, as a young woman in her twenties accidentally shot and killed her mother and aunt. The Criminal Security Branch in Homs was able to uncover the details of the crime, which took place on a farm in the village of Zaidal, resulting in the death of two individuals and injuries to two others from the same family.
The girl who fired the gun was arrested, and the weapon was seized along with 84 Captagon pills. During the investigation, "Tawasif" admitted that she saw a military rifle hidden among the bedding in one of the farm's rooms, so she picked it up and asked her sister to take a picture of her with it. While doing so, she accidentally pulled the trigger, resulting in several shots being fired, which led to the deaths of her mother and aunt, and injuries to her cousin and sister.
Additionally, security authorities in Homs confirmed that the weapon used in the crime and another rifle found in the guard's room, who is currently missing, were seized, and it was found that the drugs belonged to him. Investigations are still ongoing to apprehend the "guard," while the arrested individual along with the confiscated items will be presented to the relevant judiciary.
