While social media activists in Morocco admire the launch of the first Moroccan influencer created by artificial intelligence, named "Kenza Layli," she has quickly gained thousands of followers, establishing a virtual family consisting of her sister Zina Layli and brother Mehdi Layli. Today, Kenza, the hijab-wearing influencer, has reached the final stages of the world's first contest of its kind, competing for the title of Miss AI after securing a spot on the shortlist of ten names.
Kenza shares her daily life with her followers on Instagram, posting photos, stories, and videos showcasing her activities like sports, travel, and going to the cinema. She even took the opportunity to cheer for the Moroccan football team during the Africa Cup of Nations. Since her launch, she has published over 80 posts that have garnered a significant number of likes.
However, this admiration has not gone unnoticed, raising questions about the real person behind her design and launch. Commenting on this, jury member of the first AI beauty queen contest, Itana Lopez, stated in media interviews that the level of detail the creator addressed in each image, from clothing to backgrounds, is remarkable, deserving a place on the shortlist. Lopez also expressed the jury's admiration for the Moroccan influencer Kenza's message and her ability to engage a large audience connected to Moroccan society and empower women in the Middle East. She highlighted the power of AI creators in delivering strong messages to the world.
It is worth noting that 1,500 AI experts from around the globe, including the United States, Africa, South America, India, Japan, South Korea, and Europe, are participating in the contest.
The competition will take place in a virtual world, with a jury made up of real individuals tasked with selecting the lucky character to be crowned Miss AI. The rules of the Miss AI competition, organized by the platform Funvue, state that selection will be based on beauty, influence on social media, and the use of AI tools by the designers. The grand prize will amount to $5,000 in cash, along with a "special creativity mentorship program" valued at $3,000.
