A video captured the moment of an attempted assassination targeting lawyer Hamza Jasem in South Hilla, Babil Province, Iraq. The video showed a group of armed men forcing the lawyer to get out of his car and firing at his foot. The lawyer narrowly escaped being killed in an assassination attempt in Al-Hamza Al-Gharbi, south of Babil Province.
The video highlighted the lawyer's resistance, as he used a stick to confront the assailants. Suddenly, the armed men fled and quickly got into their vehicle to escape. Reports indicated that the lawyer was attacked while leaving his home, and police forces are currently working to track down the attackers and apprehend them.
