**Reactions to the Clashes**

President Fouad Siniora expressed his strong condemnation of the renewed armed clashes in the Ain al-Hilweh camp and called for an immediate halt. He stated, "The continuation of clashes among Palestinian factions in Ain al-Hilweh is sheer madness and suicide; they are destroying the homes of Palestinians and Lebanese." He added, "Those who killed Al-Armooshi must be handed over immediately to Lebanese security and judicial authorities to face legal punishment. The city of Sidon, which has embraced its Palestinian brothers, is paying a heavy price for its security and stability and the lives of its residents, which is unacceptable." Siniora continued, "This chaos and criminality must be stopped as soon as possible, and effective and definitive solutions must be considered; we cannot accept the city continuing to face such circumstances with the school year approaching." He concluded, "What is happening in Sidon exceeds imagination and the capacity to endure, is this the reward for goodwill? All possible solutions should be explored and considered."
