Rescue of a Man and His Daughter After Drowning at Abdah Beach

The marine rescue unit of the Civil Defense in its center in Babbene - Abdah, in cooperation with the Civil Defense center in Al-Aridah, managed to rescue B.M. and his daughter after they drowned in the sea this afternoon. First aid was administered to them, and they were transported to the Youssef Hospital for treatment. It is noted that the wind speed caused high waves and the formation of marine currents along the Akkar beach from Abdah to Al-Aridah. The General Directorate of Civil Defense had previously urged citizens to exercise caution about swimming in the sea due to high waves and fast-moving currents.
