Berri Meets with Free Professions Syndicates in the North and Al-Khatib

Speaker of the House Nabih Berri received the heads of the free professions syndicates from Tripoli and the North at the second presidential residence in Ain al-Tina. The meeting included the head of the Engineers Syndicate Shawqi Fatfat, the head of the Lawyers Syndicate Sami al-Hassan, the head of the Doctors Syndicate Muhammad Safi, and the head of the Dentists Syndicate Nazem al-Haffar. They discussed the general situation and syndicate issues, particularly those related to the funds belonging to the syndicates of engineers, lawyers, doctors, dentists, and the rights of depositors. Berri also received the Deputy President of the Higher Islamic Shia Council, Sheikh Ali al-Khatib.
