The Development and Liberation Bloc issued a statement mourning former MP Abdul Majid Saleh: "With his departure, the south will lose a resounding and resistant voice from the forefront of the resistance." They added: "With great acceptance of the will of God, the Development and Liberation parliamentary bloc mourns to all Lebanese, and especially the people of the south, the esteemed member of the political bureau of the Amal Movement and former member of the bloc, Mr. Abdul Majid Saleh, whose departure means that the south will lose a resounding voice and a fighter from the forefront of those who carried in their hearts, minds, and souls the cause of the homeland and the liberation of land and mankind until their last breath without changing." The bloc, including its president and members, extends its deepest condolences to the family, relatives, and loved ones of the deceased, praying for patience and solace and that he may rest in the vastness of Paradise alongside the martyrs and the righteous.
