Qablan: National Solidarity is Essential for Lebanon’s Establishment and Rescue

Sheikh Ahmad Qablan, the superior Jaafari mufti, delivered the Friday sermon at Imam Hussein Mosque in Burj Al-Barajneh, addressing the political situation. He stated, "The country's reality cannot be separated from the dangerous security game occurring in Ain Al-Hilweh camp, especially since the external operational orders are critical and related to the international game aimed at draining the country. It is essential to confirm Lebanese sovereignty over the land, and the solution lies in political rescue. Without a presidential settlement, there are those who wish to drown the country in catastrophic disasters of new displacement, monetary and living depletion, chaos, unemployment, and crime, within the framework of an American project that seeks to fragment and tear apart Lebanon."

He added, "Because the country is threatened, any national loss will affect everyone. It is necessary to distance ourselves from the specter of sectarian language, personal disputes, and desires that burned everything during the civil war. The conditions in our region are catastrophic, the fire of the American game is ablaze, and the Zionist barricades are present and entrenched, equipped with voices, resources, entities, activities, and media that strongly oppose Lebanon's supreme interests. The solution lies in national solidarity and political rescue, not in playing the role of an agent or mercenary, because any mistake in this area is fatal and devastating for the country and a catastrophe for civil peace and national partnership."

He directed his speech to "the government that is trying to work," reminding it that "saving the academic season is an absolute priority, as is protecting the Lebanese workforce, the Lebanese markets, livelihoods, and national security. Preventing chaos-driven displacement and illegal competition that undermines national interests is also imperative for the very existence of Lebanon."

He emphasized that "to establish Lebanon, it is necessary to restructure banks and guarantee people's deposits. Without banks, there is no possibility for economic recovery, and without national solidarity, there is no rescue for Lebanon."

He concluded by addressing the Lebanese people and political forces, stating, "Lebanon is open to the worst crises, and the international game is penetrating our national fortifications and manipulating the country's deep dynamics. The most dangerous aspect of this context is the arsenal of organizations formed in the manner of invading armies under civilian and humanitarian cloaks, and more alarmingly, their breach of national sovereignty over data across all sectors, including security sectors, thereby re-recruiting many Lebanese as part of the scheme to assassinate Lebanon. Certain embassies' organizations are an organized part of these dangerous armies. The solution remains a rapid political settlement before it's too late."
