An Iraqi faction revealed details of a meeting held in Tehran, the capital of Iran, involving leaders of "resistance factions" from Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq a few days ago. The meeting focused on the "continuation of escalation" until achieving "victory" over Israel in the Gaza Strip.

Hussein al-Musawi, spokesperson for Al-Nujaba Movement—one of the prominent Iraqi armed factions—stated to Shafaq News Agency that "there is high-level coordination among all factions within the resistance axis in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq since the beginning of the (Al-Aqsa Flood) operation until today, and all decisions taken by the resistance factions come from two directions."

Al-Musawi explained that "the first direction is a self-assessment of the battle, leading each faction and each axis to make decisions and choices appropriate to their military perceptions, while the second direction entails a unified objective and a unified stance in confronting Israel."

He added that "the meeting of the resistance factions in Tehran occurred alongside the participation of these factions' leaders in the memorial ceremony for Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, and it was not a special meeting to discuss a specific file; however, it did address developments in the region, especially the Gaza war."

Al-Musawi pointed out that "the resistance axis factions have daily communication and a joint operations room that includes all factions across the countries to manage military operations against Israel."

Last Thursday, Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Commander General Hussein Salami and Quds Force Commander General Ismail Qaani met with Lebanese, Palestinian, and Yemeni factions, affirming "the continuation of escalation until the victory in Gaza." According to Iranian media, the meeting was held on the sidelines of the memorial ceremony for President Ebrahim Raisi and his companions, who died in a helicopter crash in the northwest of the country last Sunday.
