Today, Thursday, the funeral proceedings for Ismail Haniya, the head of Hamas's political bureau, commenced in Tehran amidst concerns about the expansion of the conflict. Iran is holding an official funeral for Haniya, who will later be buried in Qatar, following his assassination in Tehran during an Israeli airstrike, which has raised fears about the escalation of hostilities amid the ongoing war in Gaza.

At that time, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, will pray over his body."
