The spokesperson for the Israeli Army, Daniel Hagari, confirmed that the leader of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, is leading Lebanon into the unknown, noting that all Lebanese are standing on "one and a half feet." In an interview with Al Arabiya/Al Hadath on Tuesday, he stated that the Israeli army has killed over 400 members of Hezbollah, emphasizing that they will reach all the party's officials. He also mentioned that Fouad Shakir, who was assassinated by Israel, was responsible for the deaths of many Israelis, pointing out that everyone knows the missile that struck Majdal Shams in the occupied Golan was of Iranian manufacture.
Hagari explained that Nasrallah is leading the entire region toward an escalation for which he will bear responsibility. He added that Israel does not want escalation in the region but will act decisively against any attack, stressing that it is now prepared for any confrontation. He stated that Israel is not the same country it was before October 7 and will respond to any threat from any area. Commenting on the appointment of Sinwar as head of Hamas, he described him as a "wanted terrorist," adding that the Israeli army continues to dismantle Hamas's military capabilities and has killed its most important leaders. He indicated that the operation in Gaza will continue until the hostages are recovered.
