After a video circulated on social media showing a white Mercedes dragging a dog tied with a rope in the town of Al-Rouda - Bekaa, the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division announced that "through investigations conducted by the Zahle Judicial Detachment, it was revealed that the perpetrator is named - M. Sh. K. (born in 1969, of Syrian nationality)." The directorate stated that "he was brought to the mentioned detachment's center, based on the instructions of the relevant judiciary. During the investigation, he confessed to tying the dog and dragging it for a distance of 500 meters due to the dog's attack on his children and scaring them. The car was seized, and (M. Sh.
