The Lebanese Army Command - Direction of Guidance issued the following statement: "A unit of the army will conduct training exercises from September 25, 2023, to September 28, 2023, between 6:00 AM and completion, in the training field of Mazraat Hanouch - Hamat, which will include the use of live ammunition with heavy weapons. Therefore, the army command urges citizens and the owners of fishing and leisure boats not to approach the training area during the specified time and place.
On September 25, 2023, between 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM, non-governmental organizations working in the field of mine clearance will detonate unexploded ordnance in the vicinity of the following southern towns: Amara, Hula, Markaba, Arab al-Louiza, Aita al-Jabal, Aita al-Chaab, Yanooh, Tal Ermez, Aytit, and Yaroun.
A unit of the army will conduct daytime and nighttime training exercises in the Ras Masqa region from September 25, 2023, to October 25, 2023, which will include live fire with light and medium weapons.
Additionally, a unit of the army will hold training exercises on the dates of September 18, 19, 20, 25, and 26, 2023, between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM each day in the Mazraat Hanouch - Hamat training field, which will include live fire exercises.
A unit of the army will conduct training exercises on September 14, 16, 25, 26, and 29, 2023, between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM in abandoned buildings in Kfarfalous, which will also include live fire.
Moreover, a unit of the army will hold training exercises on September 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, and 28, 2023, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day at the Al-Shawaker training center - Tyre, which will include live fire exercises.
Lastly, a unit of the army will conduct training exercises at the Zahraani facilities from September 4, 2023, to September 25, 2023, between 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM each day, which will also include live fire."
