In a major attack on Israel, Hezbollah launched a widespread offensive against military sites within the country, using dozens of attack drones. The prolonged assault specifically targeted the Mount Hermon area and towns near Tiberias, as well as the upper Galilee adjacent to the border with Lebanon.
Israeli Channel 12 reported fires breaking out in five locations in northern Israel. Hebrew media confirmed that Hezbollah's drones flew over Israel without any obstacles, and no Iron Dome missiles were fired in response.
The "Islamic Resistance" announced that it had carried out "an air assault with swarms of attack drones on the Alon Aircraft Base (a gathering and muster point for troops and emergency supplies for the northern corps located southwest of Safed)," targeting the positions of its officers and soldiers, causing direct hits and confirmed injuries.
In response, the Israeli army launched heavy airstrikes inside Lebanese territory, targeting the towns of Khyam and Blida. Israeli warplanes also conducted airstrikes on Aita ash-Shab and the area between the towns of Hanin and Ain Ebel.
