Prime Minister Najib Mikati condemned the blatant Israeli aggression against the southern suburb of Beirut, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of dozens of Lebanese civilians. He stated that the Israeli killing machine has not been satisfied with targeting Lebanese areas in the south and Bekaa, reaching deep into the capital Beirut, just meters away from one of Lebanon's largest hospitals. He described this criminal act, which occurred last night, as part of a series of aggressive operations that are claiming civilian lives in a clear and blatant violation of international law and humanitarian law. He emphasized that this is something we present to the international community, which must assume its responsibilities and exert strong pressure to compel Israel to halt its aggression and threats and to implement international resolutions. He also indicated that we will retain our full right to take all measures that contribute to deterring Israeli aggression. Furthermore, he announced that he has called for a cabinet meeting tomorrow and urged all ministers to participate.
