The broadcaster Amr Adib revealed that his brother, broadcaster Imad Eldin Adib, suffered a health crisis that caused his heart to stop for a full minute while participating in a conference in the UAE. He noted that the famous Egyptian doctor Bassim Youssef intervened with first aid to save his life. Just minutes after the session ended, Imad Eldin Adib was conversing with the comedian Bassim Youssef, who noticed signs of a heart attack as he was sweating profusely. Being a doctor and a former heart surgeon, Bassim requested that he be taken to the hospital immediately, which was done within minutes.
Amr Adib explained that an ambulance equipped for emergencies was present at the forum, and Imad was transported to Rashid Hospital in Dubai within seven minutes. He continued, stating that the hospital director personally resuscitated Imad Eldin Adib, indicating that an artery was 100% blocked.
