The "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc held its regular meeting in its central headquarters this afternoon, chaired by MP Mohammad Raad with the participation of its members. A statement was read by MP Dr. Ihab Hamadeh, in which he said, "Cursed be the arrogant, what contemptible behavior it is to impose its conditions on the victims of its terrorism and aggression, bargaining their breaths for acceptance of its guardianship over their land and sovereignty. How audacious it is to hold them responsible for the injustices inflicted upon them by their enemy while confronting its occupation. The U.S. administration is the tyrant of this era, and the Zionist entity is the trained monster under its care, designed to instill terror in nations and peoples, impose guardianship over them, and dictate policies to their regimes."
He added: "The resistance movements among our peoples are not oblivious to this reality, while they do not yield to it… They reject normalization or adapting to it… Tyranny is an affront to humanity; no good can come from it, and no safety, peace, or stability can be wagered upon it… Dignity and sovereignty cannot be preserved by it. The Zionist war on Gaza encapsulates all that our convictions, experiences, and historical and political awareness hold about the nature of the usurping entity and the American tyranny supporting it."
He continued: "The issue is not merely a massacre here or there that warrants condemnation or denunciation, but it lies in an evil and malignant aggressive policy that can only be cured through eradication and uprooting, while overlooking it poses a constant existential threat not just to the neighborhood, but to all humanity. The Zionist enemy's shelling and systematic destruction of the Gaza Strip, its areas, and neighborhoods, along with the deliberate targeting of the Baptist hospital leading to the death and injury of over a thousand people in and around it, is a describable act of terrorism and a crime against humanity that necessitates not only strong condemnation from peoples and states but also the immediate expulsion of the Zionist entity from the United Nations, stripping its fabricated legitimacy, and reinstating the previous international resolution equating Zionism with racism."
He pointed out that "the U.S. administration's support for the terrorism of the Zionist enemy and its massacres, as well as for the genocidal approach it practices against the Palestinian people and peoples of the region, will not change the position of our Arab and Islamic peoples, which rejects recognition of the legitimacy of the Zionist entity and condemned the option of normalization by the political regimes in the region. Moreover, continued American support for the Zionists and their usurping entity of Palestine, threatening security and stability in the region and the world, will only lead to further alienation and hatred from our peoples towards the American policy and its absolute bias in favor of the existential enemy of our peoples and their states."
The loyalty to the resistance bloc considers:
1. The American administration is guilty of a crime against humanity due to its commitment to protecting and supporting a fabricated and loathsome racist Zionist entity that the peoples of the region cannot coexist with. The enemy will not be able to legitimize its occupation of Palestinian land, no matter how much time passes.
2. It is the right of the Palestinian people, and indeed their legitimate, productive choice, to resist the Zionist occupation by all available means and methods until all sacred sites and the entirety of Palestinian land from the sea to the river are liberated. The bloc supports and endorses this right with all available resources and highly values the struggle and sacrifices of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Islamic Jihad Movement, and the other factions of the resisting Palestinian people, honoring their heroism.
3. The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon cannot remain idle against any Zionist action that constitutes a threat or an attempt to breach the equations established by the resistance in facing Zionist aggressions. It is both the right and duty of the resistance to confront Zionist aggressions, and its fighters and martyrs are the guarantors and safeguards for which we owe deep respect and admiration. We vow to uphold the sanctity of their pure blood. The enemy’s mobilization of its forces during its aggression on Gaza represents a form of threat to Lebanon that must not be taken lightly.
4. The Zionist enemy may aim, through its continued condemned aggression against Gaza and the destruction of its infrastructure and signs of life, to create dangerous geopolitical changes. This represents a growing regional threat that could plunge the area into chaos and expand the circle of risks on multiple levels and directions.
