Member of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc, MP Hassan Fadlallah, stated that "the crimes against humanity being committed by the enemy in Gaza are unprecedented in our time; they kill for extermination and destroy for the sake of destruction, and this is their bloody identity. However, they have not been able to suppress the will of the people of Gaza, despite killing bodies, because we are facing a wronged, patient, steadfast, and resistant people who are determined in their land. They will not allow a repetition of displacement into exile, even if they remain in pieces. We are confronted with a resistance that, based on all our indicators, maintains its presence on the ground, and the enemy has been unable to undermine it. The painful issue is the targeting of people, homes, and the siege; otherwise, if the war remained confined to the military field, we would have seen the real results where the resistance holds the upper hand."
Fadlallah's remarks came during a commemorative event held in the southern town of Shuqra. He added, "Whatever the humanitarian pains and the level of destruction that the occupation is inflicting to regain prestige and deterrence for the settlers, this will not be realized, for what has been broken has been broken, and only one truth will remain in mind: that Israel is weaker than a spider's web, and it is defeated, confused, and unable to decisively conclude the war. Its government and generals are trying to exhaust themselves and their political future, and they have brought in fleets, warships, and special American forces to assist them in managing the war, as the American patron is no longer confident in the decisions of 'Netanyahu's' government and the leaders of the occupation army to restore some balance to this entity."
Fadlallah concluded, "The battle on the Lebanese-Palestinian border is now a defensive battle for Lebanon. Its martyrs on the road to Jerusalem are sacrificing for their country, their people, and the future of their nation. The results achieved will have significant impacts on the developments on the ground in Gaza, imposing new equations both within Palestine and in Lebanon. What is happening is unprecedented in the history of the conflict with the enemy, which, despite all its measures, stands on 'one leg and a half,' while the resistors possess the initiative."
