Google Denies Russian YouTube Users Profit Opportunities

Reports from technology and internet-related sites have indicated that Google has decided to block the AdSense service for Russian users, which allows them to earn money from the videos they publish on YouTube. According to available information, users in Russia have started receiving a message from the Google Payments team stating: "We are deactivating all AdSense accounts in Russia. This means that it will not be possible to generate profits through these accounts. Earnings for July will be paid between August 21 and 26 if the account is not suspended and the payment duration is met."

Previously, Google's AdSense had imposed restrictions on users in Russia, and as of March 2022, it disabled ad display in the Russian Federation and enforced a ban on creating new accounts for Russian users. Now, Google has decided to sever all ties with bloggers and content creators from Russia.

Last week, some Russian media reported that YouTube has stopped functioning for Russian users accessing it via computers, regardless of their home internet service provider. When attempting to open the site, users see an "error" message or messages asking them to check their internet connection.
