Rasmussen Reports conducted a national survey via phone and online, where 49% of potential voters in the United States expressed their intention to vote for Trump, while 45% would vote for Harris. Additionally, 3% of respondents indicated they would vote for another candidate, and 2% were undecided.
These results have changed from last week when Trump was ahead by five points, with 49% for Trump compared to 44% for Harris. The survey was conducted among 1,885 potential voters in the United States between August 8 and August 11-14, with a margin of error of 2% and a confidence level of 95%.
The U.S. presidential election is scheduled for November 5th, and Trump has officially declared his candidacy for the presidency as a Republican. Meanwhile, current Vice President Kamala Harris intends to run for the Democratic Party and is expected to secure the official nomination at the upcoming party conference in Chicago.
