Hot Night in the South... and Severe Damage

Israeli military aircraft targeted the town of Wadi Jilo in the Tyre district early this morning, hitting an uninhabited house, which led to its destruction and the ignition of fires in several surrounding homes, as well as a storage facility for cleaning tools and oils. This caused damage to dozens of homes, including broken glass and windows, and structural cracks, in addition to severe damage to the infrastructure, particularly the electricity and water networks. Civil defense teams from the Islamic Scout Association and the Islamic Health Authority, along with the Lebanese civil defense, rushed to the scene to extinguish the burning fires and treat moderate and minor injuries.

Additionally, Israeli military aircraft attacked the outskirts of the town of Siddiqin around three in the morning, targeting a house that was completely destroyed, resulting in significant damage to property and infrastructure. This morning, the outskirts of the town of Aita al-Shaab in the central sector were subjected to direct Israeli artillery shelling. The Israeli army also dropped flares over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line until this morning, while reconnaissance aircraft flew over the villages of the Tyre district, the coastal area, and along the Blue Line adjacent to the international border with occupied Palestine.

Last night, the Israeli army conducted a sweep with heavy machine guns towards the Maisat area on the outskirts of the town of al-Wazzani. The Israeli artillery targeted the Tal al-Ismail area west of the town of al-Dahira, while the Israeli army dropped flares over southern areas amidst the low-flying military aircraft, particularly over the eastern sector.

Hezbollah announced in a statement that its Islamic resistance fighters targeted the Ramtha site in the Kafr Shuba hills with missile fire, hitting it directly. In turn, the Israeli army reported the "killing of a soldier in a drone attack on a military site in Western Galilee." It noted that "one soldier was killed and 11 were injured in an attack by Hezbollah drones targeting a site near Harfish in the Upper Galilee." The Israeli army stated, "25 have been killed on the northern border since the beginning of the war, including 15 soldiers and 10 civilians." Israeli media highlighted that "a soldier was killed and a female soldier injured in the drone attack on Elkoosh 'Harfish' in the north."
