Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated today, Tuesday, that Israel is facing a multi-front war, indicating that it has responded on 6 out of 7 fronts. He said at the beginning of a session of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee in the Knesset, "We are engaged in a multi-front war," referring to the fronts in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, in addition to Iran. He continued, "We have responded and acted on six of these fronts," adding, "Anyone who acts against us is a potential target, and no one is immune." These remarks come as Israel prepares for any potential response from Iran, after Tehran threatened to retaliate for the killing of Brigadier General Razi Mousavi, a senior Iranian Revolutionary Guard advisor in Syria, in an Israeli airstrike on Monday. An Israeli official confirmed that the Israeli army is preparing for a possible Iranian response that may include missile launches from Syria and Lebanon, according to Axios correspondent. The Israeli official also denied any involvement of Tel Aviv in the killing of the Iranian general. Iran had accused Israel of assassinating Mousavi with missiles that targeted his home in the Syrian capital, Damascus, after he returned from the Iranian embassy. The Revolutionary Guard has vowed that Israel will pay the price for his killing.
