The Future Festival 2024 kicked off today, Wednesday, hosted for the first time in Dubai at the Dubai Exhibition Center within "Expo City Dubai." The festival features a series of discussions exploring key trends and potentials related to artificial intelligence and its various applications across different sectors. The two-day event is organized by "DXB Live," the integrated event management services arm of the Dubai World Trade Center, in partnership with "Trend Hunter," a leading platform for exploring emerging trends and accelerating innovation. This global event provides an opportunity for sector leaders, innovators, and technology enthusiasts from around the world to discuss the prospects of artificial intelligence and its transformative impacts that will reshape the future.
In this context, Farid Farouk, Vice President at the Dubai World Trade Center, told the Emirates News Agency (WAM) that the Future Festival 2024 serves as a leading platform for exploring global future trends, offering new insights and visions on how to address emerging developments in artificial intelligence and identify the untapped opportunities necessary to maintain competitiveness.
Engineer Yasmin Al-Ani, UAE's female ambassador in the field of artificial intelligence and co-founder of the Women in AI Club, noted that the festival is a platform that brings together innovators from around the world to encourage them to make optimal use of artificial intelligence by hosting strategic dialogues, a series of sessions, and innovative workshops, as well as exchanging ideas and experiences. She pointed out that the workshops address modern technologies and new concepts such as "future trends" and "the metaverse."
Additionally, the discussion sessions covered various topics including "Women's Representation in the AI Sector," "AI and the Turning Point," "Innovation in Healthcare," and "The Accelerating Pace of Change," highlighting strategies that can be applied to empower teams to lead innovation and anticipate changes within the organizations they belong to.
