Meeting Between the Leader and Assad in Preparation for All Possibilities

The speech of the Secretary-General of "Hezbollah", Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, today gains exceptional importance related to the historical circumstances the region is experiencing, amid unprecedented Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, the repercussions of which affect the entire region, starting with Lebanon. Since the official announcement of Sayyed Nasrallah’s appearance, estimations and speculations about what he might say at this time have multiplied, to the extent that social media and political salons overflowed with virtual drafts of the speech, while only Sayyed Nasrallah knows what it will include, alongside the members of the Shura Council aware of its main lines.

Not only is the Lebanese interior anticipating the speech, but also, and perhaps primarily, the Israeli entity, where a breath-holding atmosphere prevails in anticipation of the "salvo" of cross-border messages from the southern suburbs. Perhaps what reflects the heavy Israeli wait for the party leader’s words is what Chaim Levinson reported in Haaretz, where he expected that the number of viewers for the speech would surpass that of both the Spanish and English classics combined, pointing out that "Israel and the Middle East, and I do not exaggerate if I say the world, stand at a sensitive and highly complex crossroads, and what is coming is open to all calculations, and Nasrallah’s speech may be the key to unlocking the code of what is to come."

It is noteworthy that U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will be present in Tel Aviv simultaneously with Sayyed Nasrallah's appearance, which means that his speech will automatically undergo immediate Israeli-American translation, especially as his messages will undoubtedly encompass Washington, given its partnership in the war and not just its support for it. In the resistance axis, some point out that it is the other side that initiated the expansion of the conflict when the United States became publicly involved, with its military and political weight, from the very first day of the outbreak of confrontation, whether through sending weapons, aircraft carriers, experts, and ministers to support Tel Aviv, or through President Joe Biden's own visit to the entity and the creation of a joint operations room. Thus, it became normal and necessary, in light of this American participation in managing the war, for the resistance axis to enhance coordination and cooperation among its parties to support Hamas and the Palestinian resistance, particularly as the remainder will come under threat if they allow the occupation to act unilaterally against Gaza, according to the assessments of the axis forces.

Because the current threat carries a strategic nature, Sayyed Nasrallah’s speech will not only reflect the party's position but will also express that of the entire axis, especially as his lines of communication are open with all allies, and discussions between him and them are ongoing. In addition to his continuous communication with the leaderships of "Hamas" and "Islamic Jihad" and the commander of the Quds Force, Ismail Qaani, as well as Ansar Allah in Yemen, information indicates that Sayyed Nasrallah visited Damascus less than two weeks ago and met with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad as part of activating coordination among the axis parties and discussing possible options for dealing with the Israeli war, preparing for all possibilities in the upcoming phase.

According to information, forces from the Iraqi Popular Mobilization have recently moved to Syria in anticipation of potentially opening a front in the Golan against the occupying entity, while it has been notable in recent days that Yemen has joined the confrontation through the launch of missiles and drones towards occupied territories, preceded by operations against American positions in Syria and Iraq, indicating that the forces of the axis are escalating the pace of warning messages that will reach their maximum threshold with Sayyed Nasrallah’s speech.
