An Iraqi security source reported the killing of a tribal leader's son in Fallujah, Anbar Province. The source stated that "gunmen opened fire on the tribal leader's son in front of his home in the city of Fallujah, resulting in his death." It was added that "security forces have taken measures at the city's entrances and exits in an attempt to reach the perpetrators," without providing further details. Tension and heightened alert prevail, especially as the victim, Mazahim Harimis, is a leader in the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), and his father, Abbas Al-Jraisi, is also a leader and close to the Badr Organization, which is led by Hadi Al-Amiri.
